An initiative focused on making workforce readiness opportunities accessible to the skate community. The Creative Careers Program is focused on using workshops (focused on basic workforce skills such as resume writing and job interviewing) & panels with skaters working in a variety of fields (focused on discussing their career paths/trajectories and the realities of working in their profession), as well as summits and opportunities to network and connect with potential mentors. All activities will be open to anyone in the skate community as a means of doing outreach/recruitment and program development/improvement research for more structured workforce readiness programs.
