Harold Hunter Foundation is currently providing Google Career Certificate scholarships to skateboarders aged 16 + in New York City!
Grow with Google is an initiative helping people across the US and the world grow their skills, careers, and businesses by offering free tools, training, and events. They provide a self-paced, online training program that offers professional certificates in the fast-growing high-demand fields of project management, user experience (UX) design, data analytics, digital marketing & e-commerce, IT support, and cybersecurity. Since 2022, the Harold Hunter Foundation has supplemented the resources provided by Grow With Google - which includes free post-graduate access to CareerCircle and Big Interview - with optional co-working sessions, 1:1s with HHF staff and mentors, professional development workshops, private skate sessions, and more!
How to join the program?
- Register for LeagueApps (this is how HHF will communicate with you, update the program calendar, and take attendance for workshops and events)
- Join "Grow With Google at HHF" on Coursera (this is where you'll complete your certificate classes and coursework)
- Check your email for a message titled "You're invited to learn on Coursera", which I will send within 48 hours after you register for LeagueApps
- Click the "Join Now" button in the email invitation to sign up for (or log into) Coursera
- Review these orientation slides
- Sign up for 1:1 office hours (this is when we'll have 1:1 time to discuss your personal, academic, and/or professional goals)
